Synopsis
Asami Miyake, a senior at her company, had spent over a year pining for her junior, Shinpei Nasaka. Capable, soft-spoken, and kind to everyone, he was truly out of her league. One night, fueled by liquid courage at a drinking party, Asami confesses her feelings to him. Prepared for a crushing rejection, she is shocked when he actually says yes. Swept up in this miracle-like development, the two begin dating. They eventually have their first "home date," a dream come true for Asami. However, at the height of her happiness, she begins to feel a sense of unease at Nasaka's behavior. He knows the layout of her room despite never being told, and even knows her favorite type of tea which she had only mentioned in passing. Asami feels an indescribable fear toward this man who somehow knows everything about her. "How do you know all that...?" When she confronts him, Nasaka begins to recount, without a hint of remorse, a record of his abnormal affection spanning two years. As the mask of the refreshing prince falls away, his true yandere nature—filled with twisted obsession—is revealed. Though Asami trembles in terror, his insane love is actually a mirror image of the "secret" she herself had been hiding deep in her heart. Her crush was nothing like the person she thought he was—but perhaps he is the one most like her. A love story of complicity where the twisted unrequited feelings of two stalkers intersect.
